Farmers' markets across Grey are opening for the 2019 season. With the exception of Owen Sound (which is open year-round) most markets will open in time for the Victoria Day weekend or shortly after, just in time for the first local harvests.
Located along the Bruce Trail and just off Big Bay Sideroad, park your car off the road at the end of Graham's Hill Road and walk for 15 minutes while you follow the white Bruce Trail blazes in an easterly direction to this spectular view over Georgian Bay and down Kemble Mountain. This is a rugged trail, so suitable clothing and footwear is required.
Forested area includes old sugar bush; hiking or skiing trails along old logging roads, rare wild plants; impressive views of Georgian Bay, farmlands and village of Kemble. The Bruce Trail traverses the property.
Our four acres of gardens are constantly evolving with rockeries, xeriscape gardens, ponds, perennial and shade gardens, unusual trees and shrubs. The gardens are open from May to Thanksgiving.
We extend a personal invitation to you to enjoy and explore our private 430+ acre managed forest/wildlife reserve with your family and friends while visiting the surrounding area of the Bruce Peninsula.
